Precision Machining Requirements For Materials

- Aug 01, 2017 -

Precision processing, not what materials can be precision processing, some material hardness is too large, more than the processing parts of the hardness, it is possible to collapse the mechanical parts, so these materials are not suitable for precision machining, unless it is made of special materials, or laser cutting.

For precision machining materials are divided into two main categories, metal materials and non-metallic materials.

For metal materials, the hardness is the largest stainless steel, followed by cast iron, followed by copper, and finally aluminum.

and ceramics, plastics and other processing is a non-metallic materials processing.
